description: I was assigned to draw a picture of my own eyes. We were told to shade with color pencils on top of black paper since the colors wold pop more. I decided to add more neon colors such as green, pink and blues to help represent the shadows and highlights. I struggled a lot because with color pencil, the more you add to the paper the lighter it gets. So I had to add highlights instead of shadows.
